SCA is hiring a full-time Mid-Shift Diesel Mechanic Lead in Houston, Texas, working the second shift Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The role leads the shop, performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, coordinates work orders and daily shop activities, mentors mechanics and shop helpers, and ensures safe, efficient maintenance with minimal downtime. The position pays $21–$36 per hour, with eligibility for a first pay increase at six months, and requires a high school or GED, five years of hands-on shop experience with hydraulic, electrical, and air-pressure systems, a driver’s license, and a CDL preferred.
