Central Insurance is hiring a Middle Market Underwriter in Alpharetta, Georgia, on a hybrid full-time salaried basis. The role manages and underwrites a middle-market commercial insurance book, selects and prices risks, analyzes exposures and losses, handles complex accounts that may require reinsurance, monitors profitability and growth, maintains agent and internal relationships, and supports strategic underwriting initiatives. Candidates need a bachelor's degree and two years of commercial lines underwriting experience, or four years of such experience without the degree; middle-market underwriting experience is preferred.
