Description
LREI is seeking a full-time Mandarin Teacher for fifth through eighth grades for a leave position from January 28, 2027 to May 10, 2027. The teacher will teach Mandarin sections, familiarize themselves with the school’s curriculum and assessments, collaborate with language teachers, advise middle school students, and participate in professional development and school activities. Candidates should be comfortable teaching mostly in Mandarin, facilitating hands-on projects, supporting social justice and equity, communicating effectively with families, and working collaboratively. A master’s degree in education focused on language learning and at least three years of successful teaching experience are preferred, but alternate pathways may be considered. The annual full-time salary range is $74,002.24 to $142,049.86, prorated for time worked.
