Explore Schools is hiring an in-person Middle School Math Learning Specialist to provide targeted, data-driven special education support to students in grades 6–8 across its Brooklyn charter school network. The role provides SETSS and ICT math instruction, direct services aligned to IEP goals, differentiated instruction, assessment accommodations, student records management, and collaboration with grade-level and intervention teams. A bachelor's degree and classroom teaching experience are required; two years of teaching experience, New York State and special education certifications, and a master's degree in education are preferred or strongly preferred. The position is exempt, full-time school-based work with a standard 45-hour week and a 2026–2027 annual salary range of $62,710–$80,896 for bachelor's-level teachers or $67,486–$88,658 for master's-level teachers, depending on experience and certification.
