Description
The PSOE Classroom Teacher delivers direct instruction in middle school mathematics for grades 6–8, including curriculum implementation, lesson planning, data disaggregation, assessments, grading, conferences, and classroom management. The role supports students with exceptional needs through IEPs, 504 plans, and related documentation, maintains family and community communication, and contributes to school committees and special projects. It requires a valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent, a bachelor’s degree in education, and experience or interest in hands-on, student-directed mathematics instruction; prior charter-school experience and technology proficiency are preferred.
