Tieto is hiring a Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer focused on Red Hat OpenShift and on-premises infrastructure for a telecom project with client BICS. The role covers OpenShift cluster design, implementation, and management; application containerization; CI/CD and GitOps; Ansible automation; patching, backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, documentation, and on-call support. Candidates need at least four years of relevant professional experience or equivalent certifications, including four years in IT infrastructure or platform engineering, along with hands-on OpenShift/Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, Ansible, scripting, and GitOps experience.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent certifications, including 4 years in IT infrastructure or platform engineering.
Hands-on experience deploying, operating, and maintaining OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms in enterprise or on-premises environments.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.
Solid Linux system administration experience, especially with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and enterprise Linux infrastructure.
Practical experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible or similar tools.
Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python for automation and operational tasks.
Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
Ability to document architectures, configurations, standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Upper-intermediate English proficiency, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware.
Knowledge of ITIL Service Operations principles.
Experience with ArgoCD, monitoring and observability stacks, or disaster recovery tooling.
