Description
The Nurse Midwife provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for complex health problems affecting individuals, families, and communities; serves as a practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher; and integrates evidence-based practice, evaluation, outcomes management, and informatics. The role requires master’s or doctoral nursing education, midwifery, Ohio RN and Nurse Midwife certification, national certification, current CPR certification, and five years of clinical experience, with three years in a specialty area preferred.
