GitLab is hiring a Migration Engineer for GitLab Dedicated to lead customer migrations from self-managed GitLab to fully managed, isolated GitLab Dedicated environments. The role uses GitLab Geo for data replication, Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure and configuration, Kubernetes for workload management, and cloud platforms for network design and connectivity. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, replication, cutover, validation, runbook and automation development, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration. The role is remote, largely asynchronous, and offers a United States base salary range of $126,400 to $213,600 USD.
