Description
Hecla Greens Creek is hiring an underground mill operator to perform pre-shift inspections and operate grinding, flotation, separation, and material-handling equipment, including SAG mills, ball mills, tower mills, conveyors, loaders, bulldozers, forklifts, and overhead cranes. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment, handling flotation reagents, operating PLC and PC-based control systems, maintaining safe and clean work areas, completing inspection paperwork, and complying with HSEQ standards. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably one or more years of experience in a milling environment using grinding and float circuits, and may require night or weekend work in an underground mine.
