Description
The Millwright will work with the maintenance team to perform operational repairs and preventative maintenance on mill machinery and other mechanical systems. Responsibilities include installing and rebuilding production equipment, troubleshooting pumps, conveyors, compressors, rollers, chains, bearings, and hydraulics, reading blueprints and schematics, operating lifting devices, inspecting equipment, and completing corrective maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Journeyman Millwright Certification, hydraulic troubleshooting experience, and knowledge of lumber manufacturing processes and equipment; CMMS and JDE experience, welding and hydraulic coursework, and mechanical aptitude are also mentioned.
