Description
The Millwright installs, aligns, levels, maintains, repairs, and fabricates machinery, equipment, metal structures, and supporting systems in factories, plants, and construction sites. The role uses hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, rigging, hoists, and other equipment to assemble and disassemble machinery, secure loads, move heavy equipment, and support installation and relocation activities. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, four years of experience, mechanical proficiency, blueprint and technical-manual reading, mathematical and geometric ability, safety awareness, and the ability to work physically in varying environments.
