Description
The Maintenance Mechanic supports manufacturing operations by installing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining precision machines, production tools, and equipment. The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, troubleshooting PLC systems, fabricating parts, aligning machinery, installing and relocating equipment, maintaining records, handling hazardous waste, and training apprentices. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a journeyman’s card, a powered industrial truck operator permit, a Michigan driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and in physically demanding conditions.
