AdvanSix is hiring a Millwright/Machinist to overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chemical plant production equipment, including turbines, fans, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors. The role also involves precision machining, machine-tool setup and operation, blueprint and drawing interpretation, dimensional calculations, defect testing, and preventive maintenance. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, journeyman-level millwright or machinist licensure or equivalent apprenticeship, and five years of industrial machine maintenance and repair experience. The position pays $44.44 per hour and may require rotating shifts in a 24/7, 365-day continuous operation.
