Optimus Steel is hiring a Multicraft Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on mills, equipment, machinery, and tools. The role involves dismantling, repairing, lubricating, reassembling, fabricating, and performing general maintenance across machine repair, pipefitting, plumbing, millwrighting, and welding. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience, experience working in extreme weather, physical ability to climb, bend, stand, and lift, strong mechanical aptitude, and successful completion of a written test, interview, and hands-on assessment. The position pays $35.07 to $43.86 per hour and includes medical, prescription, dental, vision, dependent care FSA, 401(k) matching, life and accident insurance, and an employee assistance program.
