Description
The Mining Operations Superintendent reports to the Mine Manager and is responsible for safely and efficiently executing daily open-pit mining operations at the OKO West project in Guyana. The role leads operations foremen, supervisors, dispatchers, and field teams; coordinates drilling, loading, hauling, dumping, stockpile management, equipment utilization, and production targets; and works with engineering, maintenance, and geology teams. It is a rotation-based position requiring 10–15 years of mining operations experience, at least 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role, and a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or a related field.
