The Doe Run Company is hiring a Mine Trainee for a night-shift position at Brushy Creek Underground in Boss, Missouri, with the work location potentially changing within the Viburnum Trend. The trainee will learn safe underground mining operations, including hand and mechanical scaling, ore crushing, skip-pocketing, equipment operation, explosives transportation, forklift operation, maintenance, and housekeeping. The role pays $21.28 per hour, includes a 5% targeted monthly bonus, insurance benefits starting day one, 80 hours of vacation after 90 days, and on-the-job training. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, 0–6 months of work experience is acceptable, and the candidate must be able to obtain ATF clearance.
