Description
The Underground Mine Training Specialist reports to the Health & Safety General Supervisor and delivers training for common-core and skill-based requirements at the Upper Beaver Gold Project. Responsibilities include instructing employees on underground mining equipment, supporting health and safety curricula, assessing new employees, maintaining training records, tracking safety standards, and serving as a safety resource. The role requires Train the Trainer certification, at least five years of underground mine training experience, knowledge of Ontario mining safety legislation, leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS software. The schedule is 40 hours per week on a 4/3 or 5/2 basis in Dobie, Ontario.
