Description
Glencore is hiring a Mining Engineer for its United Wambo Joint Venture open-cut coal mine in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, the role focuses on developing and communicating mine plans, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure plan compliance and deliverability, and addressing barriers to plan achievement. The position requires open-cut mine planning experience, a tertiary mining engineering qualification, haulage and fleet knowledge, mine planning software proficiency, and strong communication skills. It is residential and rostered Monday to Friday at the mine site, with benefits including annual leave, long-service leave, parental leave, education assistance, and relocation assistance.
