Vale Base Metals is seeking a permanent Mining Engineer to join their Mines Technical Services team at Garson Mine in Sudbury. The role involves designing block plans, supporting weekly integrated operations scheduling, and providing mining engineering support to a team of geologists, mining engineers, and geotechnical engineers. Responsibilities include participating in the design and evaluation of underground mining operations, mentoring colleagues, reviewing work, and identifying opportunities for safety, productivity, and cost improvements.
