Description

Canadian Natural is recruiting mining engineering students for 4-, 8-, 12-, or 16-month internships beginning in January, May, or September 2027. Interns may work in Mine Technology, Mine Planning, Mine Operations Projects, Mine Survey, or Tailings Planning at Calgary, Alberta or Fort McMurray, Alberta oil sands locations. Responsibilities include monitoring mine and tailings performance, engineering and geotechnical design, production optimization, budgeting, planning scenarios, economic analysis, and detailed scheduling. Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant bachelor's degree, hold an Alberta Class 5 or equivalent driver's license, complete drug screening, and have legal authorization to work in Canada.
