Description
This is an introductory-level mining maintenance engineer/technician role reporting to the mine General Manager of Maintenance. The position supports the maintenance of underground and surface mining equipment and facilities, including conveyor belt drives, power distribution, communications, safety monitoring, and process control systems. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance, continuous improvement, parts ordering, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum two-year technical degree or military technical training, and availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and other shifts.
