Description
Thiess is hiring a Mining Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily load and haul activities at the Gruyere Gold Mine. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, the role provides frontline leadership to operators and contractors, oversees fleet performance and production targets, supports safety and compliance, coordinates with mining support teams, manages shift handovers and workforce allocation, and investigates incidents. The position requires open-pit mining leadership experience, load and haul operational knowledge, team leadership, mine planning and fleet optimisation understanding, WA statutory supervisor qualification, and a C Class Driver's Licence. It is a FIFO role from Perth on a two weeks on, one week off roster, with competitive remuneration, training, camp facilities, and corporate discounts.
