Description
The Mining Welder performs skilled welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance on heavy mining equipment, machinery, structural components, and related systems. The role uses MIG, TIG, SMAW, and FCAW processes, along with carbon arc gouging, oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, and fit-up procedures, and requires reading blueprints, selecting welding methods, preparing materials, and applying proper preheat and post-weld practices. The position is full-time, based at the Lakeland, Florida office, requires travel to client and customer sites, and may involve evenings, weekends, overnight work, and frequent overtime in harsh industrial environments.
