Description
The Missile Defense Agency NOC Technician supports DISA’s GIG/Defense Information System Network services in a 24x7 Global Network Support Center at Hill AFB, Utah. The role monitors network events, correlates alarms, isolates and troubleshoots faults, restores networks and services, coordinates with service providers and customers, and provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support. It requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, at least two years of relevant technical experience, a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and expertise in network equipment and technologies such as routers, switches, Cisco, Juniper, and optical switching. The position may require rotating night and weekend shifts and up to 10% travel.
