Description
Shield AI is hiring a Mission Engineer to evaluate how autonomous systems enable desired mission effects across military scenarios. The role applies systems engineering, modeling and simulation, mission analysis, operational analysis, requirements traceability, and verification and validation to develop mission architectures, concepts of operations, trade studies, and analytical workflows. The engineer will translate operational needs into system requirements and capabilities, collaborate with engineering, product, DoD, operator, and government stakeholders, and present recommendations to senior leadership. The position requires at least five years of relevant experience, proficiency with systems-engineering and simulation tools, experience with defense stakeholders, and an active Secret or Top-Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
