Inversion is hiring a Mission Manager to lead technical and programmatic execution across space reentry missions, serving as the primary customer and engineering interface from early studies through launch, operations, re-entry, and recovery. The role requires deep understanding of spacecraft subsystems and the ability to bridge customer needs, contract requirements, and engineering constraints, with a focus on proposal support, risk/trade studies, anomaly resolution, and mission success. The position is in-office at the company’s Playa Vista, California headquarters, and requires eligibility for U.S. government security clearance and ITAR compliance.
