Description
Reliable Robotics is hiring a Mission Systems Engineer to support the development of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems for unmanned aircraft. The role involves defining mission-related aircraft operations, supporting type certification and operational approval, developing training and support documents, contributing to system architecture and trade-off studies, capturing requirements and interfaces, performing operational safety assessments, and validating vehicle-level functions. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, FAA-certified pilot or dispatcher experience, and broad experience designing, integrating, and testing complex safety-critical aerospace systems. It can be remote or based at the Mountain View, California facility, with up to 10% travel required.
