Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Product Safety Engineer for its Mission Systems Delivery Team in Warton, working 3 to 4 days per week on site with hybrid and flexible working options. The role supports the GCAP Future Combat Air System programme by generating and reviewing safety engineering artefacts, performing hazard and risk assessments, contributing to fault tree and functional hazard analyses, supporting safety requirements and standards, and participating in multi-national safety working groups. Applicants must be BAE Systems employees with at least 12 months in their current role, have a STEM-related degree or equivalent experience, and experience with hazard analysis or risk safety assessments; knowledge of ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-254, and DO-178 is desirable.
