Description

AECOM is seeking a contingent Disaster Recovery Mitigation Specialist to support local, state, tribal, and territorial clients with the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The role involves coordinating FEMA applications, interpreting federal regulations, reviewing project eligibility and documentation, developing benefit-cost analyses, preparing guidance documents, managing data and project files, and resolving client and program issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance experience, along with a valid U.S. driver’s license, background and drug-screen clearance, and computer-proficiency skills. The position does not include United States work authorization sponsorship or relocation benefits.
