Description
The Mixer sets up, operates, and tends equipment to mix or blend ingredients such as chickpeas, spices, and liquids. The role includes reading work orders, measuring and adding ingredients, starting and stopping mixers, collecting samples, recording production data, draining batches, unloading mixtures, monitoring equipment, cleaning, clearing jams, transferring materials, and following processing SOPs and GMPs. The position requires physical work involving lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking on concrete floors, working in a damp refrigerated environment, and handling moving mechanical parts and loud noise. Bilingual Spanish ability is preferred, and the schedule is the first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
