Cerebras Systems is hiring a Core ML Performance Engineer to develop analytical and empirical performance models for large-scale machine learning training and inference algorithms. The role focuses on characterizing algorithmic trade-offs, constructing efficiency frontiers, prototyping benchmarks for Cerebras WSE and GPU baselines, identifying system bottlenecks, and recommending implementation and co-design directions. Candidates should have a degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant technical field, strong systems and machine learning knowledge, experience with performance modeling and profiling, and proficiency in Python and C++.
