The ML Compute SRE team is hiring a Software Engineer to lead software and systems engineers, own the availability and performance of key services, build automation, manage cross-continental on-call rotations, and improve the reliability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Google's machine-learning compute infrastructure. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, five years of programming experience, three years of people-management experience, and three years of experience leading projects involving administration or networking.
