Description
Mithrl is hiring an ML Engineer, Discovery Applications to build end-to-end scientific workflows for its AI Co-Scientist platform. The role focuses on creating multi-step applications that combine ML models, statistical methods, domain logic, and agentic reasoning to support biomarker discovery, target identification and validation, small-molecule design, gene therapy, and other preclinical workflows. The engineer will also develop reusable frameworks, integrate new data modalities, validate scientific accuracy and reproducibility, and collaborate with ML, bioinformatics, and data teams. The position is based in San Francisco and offers PPO health coverage through Anthem, a 401(k), and an in-person office culture.
