Description
The employer is hiring a one-year contractor ML Ops & Data Platform Engineer to build and operate AWS-based machine learning infrastructure and a shared, governed data platform for cancer screening and precision oncology applications. The role covers SageMaker, ECS/EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, CDK or CloudFormation, CI/CD, model and data versioning, observability, SLO/SLA automation, S3 lakehouse architecture, Glue ETL/ELT, data cataloging, Lake Formation access control, Athena self-service analytics, data quality, and cost optimization. The position is remote in the United States with a preference for covering Pacific Standard Time and requires at least five years of relevant experience.
