Qualcomm Europe is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its ML Platform team to architect and build large-scale machine learning and data infrastructure across on-premises NVIDIA DGX clusters and AWS. The role focuses on GPU and distributed data pipelines, production-grade software, CI/CD, observability, AWS services, platform reliability, and developer experience, while also leading project workstreams independently. Candidates need a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in a relevant field and substantial software engineering experience, with Python and at least one additional systems programming language required; hands-on GPU and ML framework experience is preferred but not required. The role is based in Italy and pays €55,200–€81,600 gross annually.
