Metamorphic is hiring a Research Engineer to build end-to-end systems for large-scale multimodal machine learning research, from scientific-data pipelines through trained models, evaluation, artifact management, inference optimization, and production serving. The role covers workflow orchestration, GPU compute management, experiment execution, MLOps, containerization, distributed compute, observability, and debugging across heterogeneous infrastructure. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree or higher, strong Python and PyTorch skills, and experience with production ML systems, orchestration, MLOps, containers, distributed compute, inference serving, and observability. The position offers $175,000–$250,000 USD based on experience, equity, benefits, and visa sponsorship.
