Description
The Phlebotomy Driver travels to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to obtain blood specimens from patients. The role includes following phlebotomy procedures, identifying and preparing patients, labeling and transporting specimens, maintaining records, coordinating with dispatch and laboratory departments, and keeping equipment in working order. Candidates must have current clinical licensure where required, medical terminology knowledge, phlebotomy and venipuncture skills, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, access to a suitable vehicle, a good driving record, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
