Description
The Mobile Phlebotomist provides clinical pre-analytical laboratory services in a mobile setting by driving to client facilities such as nursing homes, collecting patient specimens, identifying patients, labeling and processing specimens, delivering them, and maintaining equipment and records. The role requires venipuncture and skin-puncture skills, laboratory knowledge, sterile practices, communication with dispatch, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, with possible evening, weekend, and unscheduled overtime.
