Description
Wiltshire Council is hiring a Home Care Assistant to respond to urgent care and Telecare alerts, provide personal care, meal preparation, and emergency support, and travel across Wiltshire to deliver care to customers. The role works 37 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, and pays £13.92–£14.36 per hour plus 10% for qualifying unsocial-hour shifts. No formal qualifications are required, but applicants must complete the Care Certificate and have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle unless an alternative arrangement is agreed.
