Description
The Fixed-Wing Aircraft and Drone Engineer will design, fabricate, integrate, test, and operate fixed-wing aircraft and drone platforms supporting ICNS research, including autonomous and coordinated operations, sensor and payload integration, flight-control and communication systems, and ground and flight testing. The role is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position at HEW Level 7 at the Penrith Campus with flexible working arrangements, offering a salary of $108,659–$117,202 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading. Applicants need a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience, demonstrated aircraft and drone engineering experience, CAD and manufacturing experience, and strong analytical, project-management, and communication skills.
