Description
The Mobility Equipment Hire Service Volunteer (MEHS) supports Red Cross’s short-term mobility-aids program by responding to enquiries, helping customers identify appropriate equipment, hiring and returning mobility aids, providing usage guidance, maintaining and cleaning equipment, completing paperwork and payments, and communicating professionally with clients and service staff. The role is ongoing, available on weekdays during mornings and afternoons, and requires at least one regular shift per week, a National Police Check, and participation in orientation and training.
