The Exercise and Activity Therapist provides low-intensity progressive exercise and activity programs for older adult residents and guests, supporting mobility, independence, and rehabilitation. The role includes monitoring resident response, coordinating with nursing and therapy staff, assisting with transfers and ambulation, training nursing assistants, and maintaining resident and confidentiality standards. Applicants need a high school diploma and post-secondary coursework in relevant areas, current CPR certification, and the ability to work independently; related exercise or older-adult experience is preferred.
