Bosch is hiring a 12-month Model-Based Design Engineer in Aveiro to develop, simulate, and optimize control architectures for hybrid and residential heating appliances. The role uses MATLAB/Simulink to model core appliance functions, execute model-in-the-loop simulations, evaluate system behavior against functional requirements, optimize control parameters, document results, and present findings to the engineering team. Candidates should have a relevant degree, hands-on MATLAB/Simulink experience, knowledge of thermodynamics, control engineering, and model-based design, and English communication skills.
