Penta Research is hiring a full-time, onsite Flight Software Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on model-based flight software development using MATLAB and Simulink, automating code generation and optimization with Embedded Coder, and conducting code reviews and presentations. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required, along with proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Gitlab, configuration management, and DevOps practices. Preferred qualifications include experience with Simulink Coder, Embedded Coder, real-time operating systems, embedded software, C++, hardware-in-the-loop and processor-in-the-loop testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
