Mainspring Energy is hiring a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the design, testing, and manufacturing of linear generators. The role focuses on developing dynamic system models, C++ control-system code, ODE/DAE solvers, test plans, custom simulation environments, reduced-order models, and documentation. Candidates need an engineering degree, strong applied-mathematics and analytical skills, and at least five years of practical experience across relevant physical domains. The position is hybrid, based at Mainspring’s Menlo Park headquarters, and includes pre-IPO stock options and benefits.
