Description
The role develops physics-based thermal, CFD, and chemistry models for semiconductor capital equipment, using commercial simulation software, analytical methods, DOE, optimization, and data-driven modeling. It also improves in-service tools using field failure data, reports results, and collaborates with mechanical, electrical, process, and software engineers. Candidates need a master’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering with 10+ years of experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience, along with experience in computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, AI/ML modeling, and related fields. The role offers on-site flex or virtual flex work arrangements.
