Description
The Mold Maker is responsible for generating cutter paths, writing machine programs, setting up and assembling molds, building and revising customer-owned molds, interpreting blueprints and CAD files, inspecting dimensions, installing electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics, creating specialized drawings, and training apprentices. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of tool-making experience, proficiency in geometry, math, mold-build software, metals, and tolerances, and the ability to work independently in a tool room and lift up to 60 pounds.
