Description
The Mold Technician performs injection-molding machine setups, start-ups, shut-downs, mold changes, quality inspections, basic troubleshooting, robot and end-of-arm-tooling maintenance, process adjustments, production paperwork, and housekeeping. The role is non-exempt, reports to the Supervisor, Manufacturing (Molding), and requires progressive training through three levels, a minimum 50th-percentile DAT Mechanical Reasoning score, a Wonderlic Select score of 50, physical ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly, and the ability to meet crane-licensing requirements. Travel is typically not required.
