Description
The Mold Technician I performs routine maintenance on plastic injection molds in the press and on the bench under the supervision of a Lead Tech or Senior Mold Technician. Responsibilities include disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, organizing, and reassembling complex tooling; troubleshooting mechanical assemblies; maintaining equipment and shop cleanliness; and learning documentation, torque settings, measurement techniques, and mold terminology. The role requires a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, basic shop tools and math knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The schedule is Saturday through Wednesday from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with possible schedule changes and less than 5% travel.
