Description
The Mold Technician performs routine maintenance on plastic injection molds in the press and on the bench, including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, organization, reassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of complex tooling. The role also involves basic measurement, electrical understanding, stoning and polishing, mold component fabrication, reading 2D and 3D drawings, and completing shop documentation. A high school diploma and at least 18 years of age are required; tool-making, injection-molding, machining, and mold-repair experience are desired but not required. The position may require travel of less than 5%, work in clean-room or injection-molding-machine environments, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
